CUMC Rocks
The Praise Band for Central United Methodist Church was invitied to lead worship this past weekend at the annual Methodist Church Conference held in Jackson, Mississippi at the new Convention Center. The band ran through a set of Contemporary Christian songs including two originals; Freedom Found A Friend written by Gypsy (on his latest CD AZA) and Jesus In Me written by Lee Santillano lead guitarist for the group. Pastor Bob Rambo from Central was also invited to give the morning sermon for this worship service. It was an excellent experience for all and this group of Worship Warriors from Central did the congregation proud! Kudos to the Youth Praise Band for filling in back in Meridian - heard they rocked the house for the Lord!
